At the moment, all training at Jemma Elizabeth Academy is delivered online.
After having my daughter, I found that online education offered far more flexibility. Not just for me, but for students too.

That said, these aren’t “basic” online courses. I’ve intentionally designed every course to be as in-depth, structured and supportive as face-to-face training, if not better.

Not at all. While there are detailed manuals to support your learning, the courses are very hands-on and practical.
You’ll be guided through step-by-step video demonstrations, real treatment walkthroughs, and practical tasks so you can see exactly how everything is done.

You’ll also complete model work, submitting photos and results along the way, with personalised feedback to help you improve between each set. The aim is to make sure you feel confident and capable — not overwhelmed with theory.

Yes, all of our ABT Accredited courses allow you to gain insurance once successfully completed.

Our Masterclasses, however, are designed as advanced skill-building courses. They are intended to enhance an existing qualification, rather than replace a full beginner course, so they don’t usually qualify for standalone insurance on their own.

If you’re ever unsure which course you need for insurance purposes, I’m always happy to guide you in the right direction before you book.

No previous experience is required for our beginner courses. They are designed specifically for complete beginners, as well as those who may be new to the industry, returning after a break, or looking to build confidence from scratch.

Everything is taught step by step, starting with the basics and building your knowledge and skills gradually. You’ll be guided through the theory, practical techniques, and real treatment processes so you always understand why you’re doing something, not just how.

With our Brow & Lash courses, you’ll also complete model work with personalised feedback in between, allowing you to improve as you go and finish the course feeling confident, capable and ready to work with real clients.

You’ll have lifetime access to your course materials, there’s no expiry date and no time limit.

This means you can revisit the manuals and videos whenever you need, whether you’re practising, refreshing your knowledge months later, or checking something before a client appointment. Many students love having ongoing access as a reference as they grow in confidence and experience.

From guidance as you work through the content, to feedback on your work and ongoing support as you build confidence and start offering the treatment, you’re never left to figure things out alone.

Yes, we do provide Permanent Jewellery starter kits, which can be purchased separately to support your training. When it comes to our beauty courses, we don’t supply physical kits, but you’ll be given detailed kit lists along with trusted links for everything you need. We’re also more than happy to advise on products and equipment, so you can choose what works best for you and your budget.
